Restoring Lives, Changing Tomorrows

Our Mission

Our mission is to bring the love and healing power of Christ to our community in real and relevant ways; through  service, fellowship and Biblical teaching.

Goals for future growth

Our ministry is dedicated to helping people who have become distressed through crisis in their lives. People of all walks of life seek our program for reasons as unique as they are individuals, but most need to break the bondage of drug addiction, alcoholism, abuse, homelessness, as well as a lack of purpose and discipline in their lives.

Our Faith Based Recovery Center provides a proven and unique 3-phase program to help individuals, their families and society, by using a loving and healing approach. Over the last 8 years, we have become a highly sought after alternative, creating success especially for individuals where treatment centers have proven ineffective.

Through God’s grace, we are consistently proving that we have now outgrown our existing facilities and are seeking a solution through prayer and action. We are ideally and centrally located in an area of South Seattle. We find that our 1.3 acre property is blessed, and have no desire to relocate. However, if we were to expand, and build additional housing on our existing site (which we own outright), we would be able to utilize the grounds and our funds much more effectively!

How do we get started and how can you help?  If any of this has moved you, read on!

We have developed our conceptual layout plan of the property and have available this Vision in our RFS (Request For Support).  Also available are forecasted costs, as well as a cash pro-forma to demonstrate our ability to achieve our Vision’s success.

Our concept is to secure our ability to finance our project at a “favorable” or 0% rate of interest. Before the project begins, we would also like to “save up” for 10% of the expected expenses. Though we are not accustomed to soliciting cash donations, we feel in this case our Vision could become a reality much quicker if we were to promote this type of assistance. We pray our communication here will help to secure our future success with our Mission’s Vision.

Fortunately, many of our brother’s have various construction experiences. We utilize everyone’s skills to teach others, helping to create better futures while sustaining the Church’s Mission. We can therefore also utilize these individuals and their teachings to perform most of the work required for our expansion, which will substantially reduce costs while providing work we all will grow from and love to be a part of.

In brief summery, here is how you might be able to help us, should your heart be so touched.

Make an outright donation to the Cross earmarked to support our Expansion.          We will be depositing these funds into a trust account, and should the project          not go forward for some reason, you will have the option to have your funds          returned.

Agree to donate materials or specialized skills once our Expansion is underway.          We will have many needs in a wide variety of areas. If you think you might be          able to help, please let us know!

Enter discussions with us to provide a low-cost loan for all, or a portion of our Expansion. We believe we have a compelling concept, in that it will genuinely reduce our  Mission’s costs while improving our efficiency. We are willing to work for and pay  back our needed funds, and are seeking opportunity over hand-outs.

Though we would love to be blessed with all the funds required to build a premier facility, we also realize how much value there is to be able to build and teach through example and real-life challenging scenarios. Our effort towards a common goal of serving others, through action and to the best of each of our abilities, sets the type of example our graduates can remember and succeed from.

We’d love to hear from you!
